We live in Sydney Australia and we had friends who went on OUT BACK 4 x 4 TOURS whiles in Barbados,and told us that we must go on this tour when we visit Barbados.My husband and I made a booking, and this tour was truly the highlight of our trip. It great fun, exciting, thrill seeking, adventurous and had us filled with anticipation of what was coming up next. We took in the sights of Barbados as well as learning how the locals lived, the history and the culture of Barbados. I am from Guyana, South America but have been living in Barbados since 1980. I often take friends on the usual tour of the island and often try to be a tour guide. However, when I went on the Outback 4 x 4 tour, I was amazed to discover that there were so many beautiful and exciting places off the beaten track and was also thrilled to hear the many stories I was told about the history and folklore of Barbados. The drive was adventurous yet I always felt safe knowing the driver was very experienced. The snacks were great and the buffet lunch most pleasing. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to both locals and visitors alike.

A special hello to Michael from CANADA!  (Newfoundland & Ontario)

This note is filled with a heartfelt thank you to Michael Merritt (owner and operator of Outback 4X4 Tours), who, not only came to the "rescue" and provided our family with the most memorable day of our vacation on your beautiful island, but to have given us the opportunity to see just how wonderful the people truly are and we are grateful to have met such a wonderful man, who gave us an awesome tour... even after the sun went down!!

To make a long story short, due to time restraints, we did not think it would be possible to get to experience an  "Outback 4X4 Tour", but just a quick phone call from a staff member of Almond Club to Michael personally, he showed up and took our family on a tour of the island that will forever be engrained in our memories.  Michael made the adventure of the tour such an awesome experience for each of us, it is still talked about more today, than the reason for the trip (my sister's wedding!!).   Through all our photos and video, we get to experience it over and over again, and just wanted you to know Michael, this is one family that will be back again.

I've been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to return to the island and have taken the "day tour" with Michael... and again, THANKS Michael, your tours are the BEST!!!  you can expect a scheduled tour from this family... as your time and attention to detail is well worth the trip!

Until we meet again, I know you will give individuals and families memories to be forever cherished....

I wanted to comment that I took this tour back in May of 2004, and experienced a lifetime of memories.  Made new friends, saw beautiful and exotic sites and had the time of my life.  Michael is a knowledgable and caring tour guide!  You will see and experience beauty and fun as never before!

I took my Wife to Barbados for our honeymoon and we decided to try the day trip as one of our friends did it when they were in Bim last year.Well let me tell you it\'s one thing that you got to do when you are in Barbados. Mike (as he is called by his friends)knows how to drive.He also knows how to get around the Island,my wife and I had a great time and consider it one of the highlights of out trip. We will be back and we will also tell all our friends it\'s the thing to do when on the Island.
