Out Back 4X4 Tours started operation in August 2002. We are
a small company which is committed to giving personalized service.
Our two Nissan Patrol vehicles with 4.2 cc diesel engines have
been specially modified with your comfort and safety in mind.
They are fitted with seat belts padded bars and a first aid kit
in accordance with regulations.
We have been affiliated with the popular Almond Resorts of Barbados for the past
three and a half years, and do four tours a week out of Almond. There are numerous
stories told by Almond guests, of the fantastic times they have experienced while
on the Out Back 4X4 Tour.
The company is owned and operated by " Michael " who also drives one
of the vehicles. Michael is a former race and rally driver in Barbados and other
Caribbean countries. The other driver is " David " who is also
an experienced driver and like Michael, has a wealth of knowledge about the history
of Barbados. You are therefore guaranteed to be the recipient of interesting
facts and stories about the island. They both know the island ‘inside out’ and
will take you places only few Barbadians have seen.
The Out Back 4X4 Tour is your "PRIVATE TOUR". We don’t
move in a convoy of vehicles with a rigid route and time schedule. Rather,
Michael and David do the tour at your pace, and are free to adjust the route
to your request. Our aim is to return you to the hotel knowing that you have
just had the most memorable day of your holiday.
